I also went through all our books that we own, and picked out the ones that Hannah would be able to read soon using the "Whole Word" method. There are 18 different books that we own so I think that's a great start. I will be teaching her the words individually, then teaching her the words together as sentences and THEN give her to book to read. Hopefully that's a fail safe method so she won't be overwhelmed.
